Our Elite S723 Simulator is now fully CAA Approved, giving 5 hour credit towards PPL , 10 hours towards a CPL and 40 hours towards  an IR.

The device is approved as an FNPT Level 2,  FNPT signifying  Flight Navigation and Procedures Trainer. The  FNPT is an excellent tool for PPL students to carry out a number of navigation exercises of varying complexity under very controlled  conditions with detailed  logging of their  position and altitude, making teaching the art of navigation a much more precise exercise. It also allows students to carry out a "first solo" with the instructor  role playing air traffic control. This gives low time students a huge confidence boost  before they carry out the exercise for real.

Other procedures such a weather diversions can also be practised. The FNPT is also ideal for  qualified pilots to keep theri hand in over the winter months and offers pilots who have not flown for a number of years  a low cost method of brushing up their skills.

The visual database covers the whole of England and Wales , allowing pilots to practice navigation through areas of complex airspace in geographical areas that they are not so familiar with. Once again this  significantly reduces workload and boosts confidence for the lower time pilot venturing out of his navigational comfort zone for the first time.
